Sunday with George Verwer

A very insightful Sunday morning with Geroge Verwer. It was really inspirational to hear from the Man of God on the work that is done by Operation Mobilization. The sermon he delivered on the day touched on how the commandment of Christ has spurned him on to spread the Gospel to all the ends of the earth.

Joy to the World

On the 26th of December, our church conducted a musical evening, in which our choir gave an outstanding performance, along with several skits, choreographies and action songs. Pastor Adama Segbedji gave a short message about the gift of salvation, enlightening us on how our life changes after being in Jesus Christ. It was a great joy to see many people making decisions to  surrender their lives to God and to live for Him. The musical evening was followed by a grand love feast, in which each of our families brought in homemade dishes and we all had a memorable fellowship together.

Care Home Christmas Service

Christmas season was wisely utilized by our church to lift the name of Jesus in 9 nursing homes around our local area. We visited three homes in Ruislip on the 24th and six homes in Wembley and Harrow on the 25th of December. Half an hour session in each home included carol songs, Scripture reading, a short Christmas message and action songs by kids. It was our immense pleasure to spent some quality time with the elderly residents, pray for them and share God’s love with them.
